A gospel-centred conference initiative
Gathering around God’s Word. Encouraging one another. Equipping pastors and strengthening local churches.
Our founding conference24–25 September 2027 · Brisbane, Queensland
01 / Our purpose
Our desire is to see the gospel of Christ advanced in Australia and his people encouraged to serve him faithfully.
Reformation Australia is an annual conference initiative bringing Christians together for biblical preaching, mutual encouragement, and pastoral training and equipping.
We want these gatherings to be a blessing to local churches: helping believers grow in the truth, encouraging those who lead, and strengthening our shared work of making Christ known.
Christ preserves his church through every generation. He purchased her with his own precious blood, and the gates of hell will never finally prevail against her. Her history includes seasons of revival and awakening, but also years of leanness, trial, persecution and tribulation. Through them all, Christ has kept a people for himself.
We look back with gratitude to the Reformation and to the faithful men and women who have gone before us. We want to recover their zeal, their clarity about the gospel, their investment in Christ’s mission and their willingness to sacrifice for its advance. Their example calls us to pursue the church’s purity and proclaim her enduring message: salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
Every generation must communicate that gospel in the everyday language of its own time. Prudent innovation has its place in that work. Our task is to proclaim the faith once delivered in words our neighbours can understand, with the conviction, courage and costly faithfulness it deserves.
Hearing God’s Word clearly taught, with Christ and his gospel at the centre.
Making room for fellowship, prayer and the encouragement of Christians serving in different places.
Training and encouraging pastors and church leaders for faithful ministry in their local churches.
02 / Our distinctives
Rooted in truth.
United in gospel purpose.
Reformation Australia is convinced that Scripture is God’s authoritative Word and that salvation is God’s gift, by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone.
We long to see Australian Christianity renewed in biblical truth, holiness and love, with churches strengthened and the gospel carried faithfully to our neighbours and the nations.
Christians from every tradition and persuasion are warmly welcome. Come to hear God’s Word, ask honest questions and grow alongside others who want to know Christ and serve him faithfully.
We draw gratefully on the Reformation’s rich inheritance as we seek fresh faithfulness to Christ across Australian Christianity.

The work continues in the local church, long after a conference has ended.
We want Reformation Australia to serve pastors and congregations, encouraging faithful preaching, deepening fellowship, and helping leaders in the everyday work of caring for God’s people.
Whether you are a pastor, a church leader or a Christian seeking to grow, our hope is that these gatherings will strengthen you for life and service where God has placed you.
The purpose behind the gathering05 / In gospel partnership
We welcome partnership with confessional churches across the historic Protestant traditions, including Anglican, Lutheran, Presbyterian, continental Reformed and Reformed Baptist churches. Drawing on the doctrinal riches of the Reformation, we work together to strengthen churches and advance the gospel throughout Australia, calling people to embrace Jesus Christ as he is revealed in Scripture and proclaimed in the gospel.
